Trident Foundation works in sync with the government development programmes. Every community development project is designed keeping in mind the local needs, through an initial need assessment, where the local needs are recognised and the final outcomes of the project are decided. The primary focus of the Trident Foundation is to help people of marginalized communities develop their own skills and initiatives, instead of just providing them with services or solutions.
The nucleus of the Trident Foundation is the development of rural livelihood, focusing on farming, irrigation, water conservation, fisheries, marketing of produce, and so forth. Sustainable interventions are designed — based on need and geography — to add to natural resources and help develop community institutions.
