Livelihood

Providing platforms to realise potential

The livelihood and community development projects implemented by Trident Foundation aim to polish components of health, skills training, education, capacity building, and creating awareness.

Trident Foundation works in sync with the government development programmes. Every community development project is designed keeping in mind the local needs, through an initial need assessment, where the local needs are recognised and the final outcomes of the project are decided. The primary focus of the Trident Foundation is to help people of marginalized communities develop their own skills and initiatives, instead of just providing them with services or solutions.

The nucleus of the Trident Foundation is the development of rural livelihood, focusing on farming, irrigation, water conservation, fisheries, marketing of produce, and so forth. Sustainable interventions are designed — based on need and geography — to add to natural resources and help develop community institutions.

Hastkala Sale

Our team here at The Trident Foundation delivers a huge shoutout to all the sheroes out there who have been flourishing in their lives as independent women while we are more than happy to help by providing them with a platform that helps in generating several different sources of employment for the women from rural areas, more so ones that belong to underprivileged communities. We’re glad to share some snapshots from our recently concluded event under Hastkala, a women-led initiative which also works for women, where more than 100 women from our 10 Self-help Groups functioning at both Punjab and MP locations participated in the Hastkala Sale and recorded a healthy revenue of Rs. 5,40,000+.
